The single most common question in our paediatric queue: my child missed a vaccine — do we start the whole course again?
Almost never. Immunological memory does not reset. A delayed dose is given as the next dose in the series, with minimum intervals observed between them.
What does matter is the minimum interval, not the maximum. Doses given too close together may not produce a full response; doses given late still count.
Bring the record, even a photograph of a worn paper card. Reconstructing a schedule from memory is where genuine errors creep in.
